Armadale Road Upgrade
Wondering what’s been happening on Armadale Road? We’ve been keeping track of what’s planned for the $145m project.
The $145m Armadale Road upgrade is underway with completion expected by mid-late 2019. This project will see pedestrian and cycle ways, dual carriageways, and a new intersection at Wright and Armadale Roads. It does mean that access to Wright Road from Armadale Road is restricted from June 2018 until the round about is completed next year.
The benefits for Peregrine Estate residents are that access to Cockburn and the Kwinana Freeway will be easier and quicker.
In other words, you will have quicker access to Salsas Fresh Mexican Grill, Guzman Y Gomez, Bucking Bull Roast & Grill, Lone Star Rib House, Nando’s, Grill’d, McDonalds, Skewerz Kebabz and much more at Cockburn Gateway.
In the long term, we’ll also have a new on-off ramp linking Armadale Road with the Kwinana Freeway at North Lake Road.
